Something Old, Something New, Something Red, Something Blue: Josh Beckett Weds

Even though it’s the off-season, Red Sox pitcher Josh Beckett is still making headlines. As reported by NESN, last weekend in a cowboy-eque ceremony, complete with country singer Zona Jones singing his hit “Two Hearts, One Love,” the baseball all-star tied the knot to Holly Fisher.

So is the new Mrs. Beckett a super model? An actress? A Miss America winner? Nope, even better—a rocket scientist. The two met in high school in Texas, and after pursuing successful (and might I add, lucrative) careers apart, have come back together in marriage.

They say behind every great man is a great woman—well, Beckett, you’ve got a rocket scientist behind you now so we’re expecting big things this baseball season!
